Socio-Cultural Research Center of Ethnic Minorities in Northern China

    The Socio-cultural Research Center of Ethnic Minorities in Northern China has been the key research platform of our school ever since its establishment. The mission of the center is to expand the field of Mongolian studies concerns in history, linguistics and literature, and to conduct research over the society and culture of northern China, especially of Inner Mongolian region. As a result of several years' construction, the Ethnology discipline has developed further and formed a complete system of undergraduate, master and doctorate training. The research team of the center has also been strengthening and its research level has improved significantly.

    In recent years, the researchers of the center have been undertaking 2 Key Research Project sponsored by National Social Science Fund and 1 Key Research Project supported by Educational Bureau and many other projects supported by National Social Science Fund, Educational Bureau, besides from their classroom teaching.
